What is the Somerset LINk?
The Somerset LINk (Local Involvement Network) is a network of local
people who want to be involved in feeding back their views about their
experience of health and
social care in Somerset.
Why do they want to hear from me?
The LINk relies on local people who are willing to share their
experiences of health or social care.
In 2010, the LINk is focusing on several areas, one of which is mental
health services.
If you are a service user, the LINk wants to know your
thoughts about what makes good and bad services - whether in hospital, at
the GPs, at specialist units or any other kind of health service. We want to
know about your experiences, so that we can make recommendations for
improvements to the people who are in charge of these services.
What does the LINk want my opinions on? The LINk
welcomes feedback on any aspect of health and social care. This includes the
NHS, hospitals, doctors, NHS Direct, social workers, pharmacists,
consultants and many more... Your thoughts and ideas about any of these
services will be recorded and used in the LINk's recommendations to the
providers of these services. For example, you could tell the
LINk:
-
What you think is good or bad about current services
-
What services would be helpful
-
How services could be improved
I've got opinions and ideas! Who can I contact?
The Development Officer coordinating this project is Jonathon Yelland.
You can send him your thoughts or feedback about services by using the form
below, or emailing him directly on
jonathon.yelland@helpandcare.org.uk.
