Service Users Complementary Holistic (SUCH) Project: Holistic Care for All.

The SUCH Project was set up in 2003 to provide access to complementary and holistic treatments to anyone suffering mental distress, be they service users, carers, volunteers or anyone working in the Mental Health system. Early in 2001, with the backing of Mind in Taunton and West Somerset, Maggi applied for a MIND Millennium Award, and the application was successful. Maggi Rowan has been practicing holistic therapy for many years, in 2008 won an individual National Training Award for her work on the SUCH Project.

The range of treatments on offer include:
• Indian Head Massage
• Juicing Therapy
• Relaxation Techniques
• Reflexology
• Holistic Massage
• Aromatherapy

Iridology may be used a diagnostic tool in terms of what treatment could be used to aid recovery.
Bach flower remedies are well known for their emotional healing properties.
Aromatherapy uses oils of plants and applied to assist in massage treatments.
