Support Co-ordinator for the "Go Wild, Stay Well" Project (Ecominds)

21 hours per week
£17,500 p.a. pro rata
Fixed term two-year contract - closing date Thursday 25 February

This is an exciting new role created by a successful application to Ecominds, in partnership with Somerset Wildlife Trust. The successful candidate will help plan and deliver a programme of conservation activities at Somerset Wildlife Trust sites across the country and support people experiencing emotional distress to access it.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with referring agencies, process referrals and carry out initial assessments

  • Work on site supporting service users through the programme

  • Carry out final review meetings

  • Be responsible for monitoring delivery of specified outcomes

Support Worker - Inclusion Project

26 hours per week
£14,300 p.a. pro rata
Fixed term contract to March 31st 2011 - closing date Thursday 25 February

This new role, within our existing West Somerset Inclusion Project, will seek to engage with people living in West Somerset who are at risk of social exclusion due to mental health related issues.

Vacancy: Volunteer Board Members (Voluntary)
There are currently two exciting opportunities to join our Board of Directors. The Board provides strategic direction for the organisation and oversees spending and standards. Being a Director means making a vital contribution to the development and delivery of Mind in Taunton and West Somerset's independent, local mental health services.

The Board meets monthly and we are looking for two individuals who can commit to the equivalent of approximately two hours per week.
